Customer Reviews of Panasonic EH2351AC Heated Eyelash Curler, Blue

Customer Review: Took time to get used to, but definitely love the final result
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm Asian, and had medium length lashes for an Asian. I tried using this eyelash curler, but didn't like the preliminary result (didn't curl enough, took too long to heat up and curl each day) enough to stop using my regular shu uemura eye lash curler. I've been using Latisse for the past 4 months, and my lashes are notably longer (for an Asian).

Just for yucks, I tried the heated eyelash curler again, and it worked much better with longer lashes. Because my lashes are fairly long now, using the regular eye lash curler leaves notable crimps in my lashes, and they really do curl up way too much (they tend to point straight up with normal eye lash curlers). The Panasonic heated eyelash curler, however, gives me a soft, natural look to my lashes.

I use the heated eyelash curler PRIOR to putting on my mascara. Using mascara after the fact does NOT at all change the natural, soft curl achieved by the heated eyelash curler. I can see how this item would not work for everyone, but I'm sold on it enough to purchase another one for a friend!

Customer Review: Not what I expected, but has its uses!
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this as a replacement for my precious Shiseido curler that I lost, hoping it could be a replacement that would work faster and easier. I tried not to have too high of hopes because I have short, stick-straight, extremely stubborn eyelashes. I was right in the sense that this doesn't really do much to curl or lift my eyelashes and so I ended up buying a Shiseido curler anyway.

However! This does wonders on my lower lashes! My lower lashes always point towards the outside corners of my eyes and are a little messy, and this curler is the only way to get them to curl downwards. With this and some mascara, it makes my eyes look better than they've ever looked (lower lashes really make a difference).

All in all, if you already have nice eyelashes, this might help boost them a bit and increase the hold of your mascara. If you have awful eyelashes like mine, this won't do that much to help, but it's a handy tool for touch-ups and reaches the pesky lower eyelashes.

Customer Review: Great heated eyelash gizmo
Summary: 4 Stars

I eyed this product for a couple of months and after seeing some YT tutorials, decided to get it. Super fast shipping, as always, with Amazon. The discounted price is very reasonable.

The product is lightweight, travel friendly and works without any hitches. It does take a bit of time for the tool to heat up, but once it does, curling is quick and efficient. I would recommend you store the battery outside of the tool so that it gets used up less. I think those who don't know how to use this product are giving the bad reviews. As for me, I don't like the typical eyelash curlers and wanted a tool that would minimize tug on the eye area as well as not yank out my lashes. This tool does it all. I have beautifully curled lashes that last all day...and I've noticed, even to the next day after washings. I would highly recommend it! Definitely look up YT tutorials on how to use it to maximize results.

Customer Review: Works well, but has some issues
Summary: 4 Stars

This heated lash curler will curl your lashes, but it does have some quirks. You may find that in order to get your lashes to hold the curl, you'll need to apply a thin coat of primer or mascara before using it. Depending on the mascara/primer used, you could end up with a mess. You don't want to use this over the wax mascaras that make little tubes on your lashes, unless you want to be digging it out of the tip. The only way to find out what works is trial and error. The other issue is battery life-- there isn't much of it. It's good for a few uses and then you're changing the battery again. I've found this to be the case with any heated device, though. The cap design is very good-- when you put the cap on, it automatically slides the switch into the off position. Overall for the price and the results, this is a good product that performs well. I doubt if I'll go back to regular lash curlers after this.

Customer Review: First one I've found that works for me.
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a few lashes in my upper lids that grow straight down, irritating as all get out. This picks those lashes up and bends them upward, out of the way; the effect has lasted all day, so far. I don't use mascara with it, although you can. I tried another heated comb-type eyelash curler, but it barely heated up, using only a single "AAA" battery. This one uses a "AA" battery, so it heats up more and better (I remove the battery between uses, so as not to use it up so quickly). Has a nice little "ready to use" indicator (changes from deep purple to pale pink). The comb is removable -- and if you do remove it while the unit is heated, you'll find that the heating element underneath is hot -- not just warm. The comb in place is pleasantly warm to the touch. Unit is nicely shaped and (with the battery in place) nicely weighted. Even if this doesn't last long, I'd get another.
