You will be better off with a blackhead remover.Revlon Stainless Steel Blackhead Remover. This item just doesn't do much on its own. The only way to get anything with it is to use the head just like a cheap blackhead scraper like the one above. In fact, you will get better performance from the blackhead scraper.
I don't know why this thing has positive reviews. My wife tried it too so it's not just me.
The only reason it gets 2 stars is because it's the first product I've ever seen with built in induction charging, and for the geek in me, that's cool.

I have to admit that I didn't have much expectations for this product. I started using it while taking a hot shower and it works pretty good. The suction on your skin was a little painful at first but I am used to it now. This product works great if you open your pores by putting your face of steam for couple of mins or daily on the shower. In my case the steam from the shower is not enought to open all my pores but because I use it daily it keeps my pores relatively clean.
The post before mine is correct, the suction cup is reversible and you can use the bigger side on most of your face and the small side on the hard areas like your nose.

While in the shower i use mine on the small opening when i first got it i didnt think it would work. The first time i used it i noticed pores on my face were larger than others, those where the spots i missed. If you let the steam from the shower open up your pores and you use it while your face is moist you will be amazed how much crap comes out. My face got softer, my pores got smaller, and my face started to clear up. I would buy this product again. And its small enough for me to take when i travel. I have clogged pores and by reading the description for this I believed it was ideal for me. I had expected it would pull the sebum from my pores clearing them up...not a chance. Imagine sticking a vacuum cleaner on your face and that is this product. From my entire face it maybe, notice the maybe, worked on two or three pores. It leaves your face very irritated and discolored. The mist is just annoying and doesn't do anything but make your face wet, whoopee. Unless you enjoy spending money on useless products I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I'm a 17 year old male so the fact that I'm even on here writing a review should discourage purchase.Customer Review: it didn't work

if i had read the reviews of others experience i would not have bought this useless thing
it just didn't work. such a small unit doesn't seem to have the power or enough suction to suck out blk heads, especially the one caused by serious acne. no matter how long you gonna steam your face, the pore just won't open big enough for this thing to obsorb it. you are expecting the blk head leaks out from the pores if you are expecting this product could help you kick out black heads.
I don't recommend this product as it is only an idea, never gonna run into reality
