This little thing is very useful and works very well. I've been using it for over three years now and I haven't changed its batteries a single time. Its very easy to clean and does the job in seconds. I am very happy with the product. I am not sure, if Panasonic has introduced any upgraded version of this, but the value you get from this product is way beyond the price you pay for it. Owned a previous Panasonic trimmer -- ER415 -- and loved it. When the blades and motor started to wear I decided to replace it with the upgraded ER430. The ergonomics and intent of the design are well thought out but the blade -- which has been redesigned -- falls way short of the guide and prevents close trimming. If I can't find the older blade design -- which fits the ER430 -- I'll have to return it.Customer Review: Takes care of Business!!!!

Why is it when you you are young you wish for hair, when you start to age you wish for less of it? I have had a few different types of nose/ear trimmers and this one ranks as the best I have owned. Does it's job quietly, safely and without pulling like some other cheap ones do. Cleaning is a snap and even comes with a nice little black pouch which can store the unit.

Like many others, I had a Panasonic for many years before purchasing this one and it worked very well. This one does not. It cuts nose/ear hairs poorly and takes much longer to cut them than the previous model. I don't know where to steer you for a better trimmer. I'm going to give the Angel Sales Neat Nose Hair Trimmer a try (with only 1 review at the time of purchase). Good luck.Customer Review: Number 1 for a reason

I've had problems with nose hair for a long time. I bought a cheap trimmer to deal with the issue. It didn't work too well at all, even brand new. This model works great. The vacuum pulls the hairs into the blades. The blades on this model do what blades are supposed to, and the hair is gone.
If you need a nose hair trimmer, buy this one. It is a quality piece of work.
