Customer Review: Disappointing, but might be my facial hair type

I purchased this product on the basis of good reviews here and that I had never tried a Wet/Dry shaver before. This is also the first time I used a non-rotary electric shaver.
The shaver simply would not cut my hair properly - long strands and clumps would be left in spots no matter how many times I went over them. I think this is due to the screen vs rotary heads. It simply does not do as well. It may have worked slightly better lathered up in the shower as a wet shaver, but still not great. Maybe it's also the cost, you get what you pay for - but the shaver seems very well designed.
Caveat: My head hair and facial hair is very fine and dry, which probably made it more difficult for this type of razor to lift and cut the hair. I know guys that have the thicker hair that can actually grow a beard, and it probably would work well for them.

The Panasonic ES-SA40-K Pro Curve Wet/Dry Shaver, is the best simple single blade shaver that I have used. I shave in the shower and have used many of the Panasonic wet/dry shavers. The Panasonic ES-SA40-K Pro Curve Wet/Dry Shaver single blade gives me the best shave for the cost. Over the past 20 years, I have used many of the 2 & 3 blade Panasonic shavers, but I keep coming back to the single blade. None of them give you the best shave around the neck, but the Panasonic ES-SA40-K Pro Curve Wet/Dry Shaver, single blade has done the best of all of them. The price is reasonable and by the time you wear it out, you can either purchase replacement blade and foil or just buy a new one. I use Scrubbing Bubbles to clean off the shaving cream scum and the shaver looks like it did when it was new. I hope you enjoy your new Panasonic ES-SA40-K Pro Curve Wet/Dry Shaver as much as I have.Customer Review: Nice shaver.

This is definitely a great shaver for the price. Personally I'd rather have it to use than most shavers multiple times the cost.

if u want clean cut use razor, this trimmer is great dont get me wrong, but it just wont shave my neck hair, i can pretty much on use it to shave off facial hair above the chin, not below, if you are looking to spend $30 and get a mediocre trimmer that does its job, above the chin line, this is for you,. if you are looking for ALL OUT facial hair shaver/trimmer, spend the few hundred bucks to get a mac daddy kind
