The product is made with quality and performs well. The only 'drawback' is if you plan and intend to use it often because you are experiencing coarse and rapid facial hair growth. Basically, I am trying to communicate most of us have heard that shaving will cause more rapid growth but that this is a 'wives tale' without substantiation in fact. However; that is exactly what I experienced when using the product daily. I was hoping to replace using a commonly available cream hair facial remover with almond oil that comes in a pink and white container with daily usage of this product. Instead discovered that the shaving actually led to MORE hair growth. So, if that is your intent, the way I resolved the issue for myself is back to the cream hair remover with occasional usage of the facial shaver. The shaver itself works well. In fact, because it is becoming so difficult to even find a well-made personal facial shaver designed for women, I am contemplating purchasing a few more of this item.Customer Review: Panasonic Trimmer

I was forced to return this product for the following reasons below:
First of all, it was packaged in a hard plastic case and I was forced to use a sharp knife to even open the package. Then I discovered the product was missing a piece (which looked to be broken off before packaging). Needless to say, I could not assemble it with a part missing, therefore it was useless.
I bought this product because of the high ratings. Why couldn't the manufacturer have put it together before shipping, then they would notice if a part was missing?? I was forced to put the cheap plastic bits and pieces in a plastic bag for the return. I will think twice before purchasing another product like this. It was discounted and now I know why, cheap, cheap, cheap!
I am a good customer of Amazon and will have to say they are very good about refunds and exchanges on defective products. That's why I continue to order from Amazon.

While I bought this product after reading the positive reviews on amazon, I was still a bit apprehensive at the idea of essentially *shaving* my face! Eeeek! It turns out, this is not scary; I did not get five o'clock shadow (horror). I am a young woman but have always had a fuzzy face. Just genetic bad luck. Sometimes, under certain lighting conditions, I would feel like my face was just covered in hairs, and sometimes, they interfered with makeup application. I was bleaching and tweezing sporadically, but it was a quixotic battle. I'm happy to say, this really does the job! It's small and easy to use, and the fuzz is gone. I absolutely recommend it.
And for those seeking a longer term method of hair removal, I've recently discovered that it's pretty easy to learn how to thread your own face; look for videos on youtube. Between threading and the groomer, I no longer feel like a bearded lady!

A problem that many women do not like to admit is having excess/unwanted facial hair. In the past i had used sally hanson creams and what not to get rid of upper lip hair, ect. It worked great for a few months then one day out of the blue i had a horrible reaction to it, my skin was burned and the marks did not fully go away until about a year. Obviously i was done with creams and such. I took a chance on this item because of the affordable prices, great reviews, and it looked to be a great item.
IT IS! The large blade is PERFECT for getting rid of upper lip hairs. It gets rid of it quick and easily with almost no irritation. I also tried it on other hairs on my face and it worked great. I have not yet used the eyebrow blade but i might in the future. For someone who wants a pain-free, and affordable way to get rid of facial hair, this is the product for you!

I love this little gal! Being of the female persuasion, until now I had no sense of a "groomer", but now I'm a big fan. Well, I'll always shave and wax in non-facial areas, but this is just what I wanted for my face. I am tossing out my epicare and updating the review of that thing to be less positive. All the hair on my face is blond, and a little thicker in some areas. Turns out I need to use this about once a week, the only downside, but the effect is great - no more chin and cheek halo in pictures! Foundation and sunblock go on so much smoother! If you have dark facial hair, I don't know if this is for you, as a slight stubble effect shows up after a few days, and with dark hair that might look bad. Or maybe use it more often? In any case, less than 5 minutes per week is worth my time for the effect, and it works great to clean up eye-brow area, too.
