This is a great little facial groomer! I am "of a certain age" and was starting to spend more and more time tweezing stray hairs so I tried this razor since it had quite a few positive reviews. I am very pleased. It works nicely on my chin, and yesterday I used it on my jaw line to prepare for laser hair treatment and it shaved closely without any burn. It is fantastic on nose hair (and yes, that is embarrassing to write). Every other razor I've tried has pulled painfully and smelled gross, like oil. This worked smoothly and painlessly. My husband just had me order one for him. The only negative I found was changing the blades. I accidently broke one. Just be careful and follow the directions and I think it shouldn't be a problem.Customer Review: Beware of dark spots!

I am a dark skinned indian girl cursed with black, thick facial hair. I bought this to use while I went away to school to keep my eye brows trimmed and my upper lip, chin, and cheek hair free. My mom noticed that on all the areas where I was using this, my skin was starting to develop dark, shadowy spots (similar to a guy after shaving). I stopped using it every where besides trimming my eye brows (careful about over doing it though). The dark spots are taking a LONG time to go away but now I thread and tweeze. Please do note that this is my personal experience and it could just be my skin that had this type of a reaction. It could also be something else entirely.Customer Review: Don't waste your money!

This product is not worth the money. It did not cut anything but the finest, softest hairs, and even then it didn't work well. It missed a lot of hairs and I had to keep going over the area again and again. The blades are too dull. For $17 bucks I expected more.
I have one made by Braun, that I got as a freebie for buying another Braun product over three years ago, and it still works as if it were new. I bought this Panasonic one thinking the curved handle would make it more comfortable, and it is comfortable to hold, it's just that the blades couldn't cut through melted butter!
Save your money for another brand.

I owned the former version of this product until it finally died....and so I ordered these all around for Christmas. I had several people on my gift list that I knew would appreciate them. Boy did they!
If you've EVER tried the other brands on the market and been dissatisfied, Please DON'T think this is the same. This Panasonic groomer is phenominal. The only thing that would make it better is that it's a little flimsy on the head. If you're changing to the eyebrow blade-be gentle. But that's the only complaint I have.
Buy it...get several. Hand them out to friends and they'll love you forever!

because I chose to not go the 'hormone' route and grew a beard that just about covered my face during this change. Could write a book about products I tried and the associated frustrations.
Then I found this groomer. Hair and frustration GONE. I don't need the swivel feature, so can't report on that. If I was told I could only use 2 personal items to for the rest of my life, this would be one of them! (I'm not reviewing the other item ;-))
My 89 year old mother wants one for herself. The price has gone up $7 since I bought mine, but it's still worth it if you're dealing with unwanted hair.
