Customer Review: Not a real replacement for a razor blade

Panasonic ES4026NC Pro Curve Rechargeable Double Blade Wet/Dry Men's Shaver, Blue/Yellow Looks pretty; charges well; just doesn't seem to shave closely and has a problem with longer hairs that are lying flat. I've tried it wet and tried it dry but must confess I haven't shaved with it for 20 consecutive days using soap as recommended by the manufacturer. I would have done that but when I need a really clean shave it's so much easier and more efficient to do a quick wet shave with a Gillette Mach 3 razor. I've been a Braun fan for years but their price increases have left me out of their market. When I saw this Panasonic ES4026NC offered for a great price, read the positive reviews and noted the generous free shipping, I couldn't resist ordering one. I've known Panasonic to be a quality product company.
The shaver performs well and is a baregain. I am very pleased. I shave dry, without gels, shaving cream etc. I get as good a shave now as I did with my much more expensive Brauns. I must note that I have a light beard and shave once daily.
I recommend this shaver to those with light beards.

Well, this is my first electric shaver and I seem to like it. I had one problem with this shaver it didn't give the full clean shave I thought it would. The product is silent and the price is a bargain. The trimmer works perfect because I was able to keep my beard in line. The shaver I say needs to be a little bit more powerful but maybe it depends on the thickness of a persons hair as well. If you are looking for a nice shaver for a great price. Look no more this is the one. This could be a great gift the only problem is the charging. I needed a new electric razor and while searching for one in Amazon, I came across the Panasonic ES4026NC Pro Curve Rechargeable Double Blade Wet/Dry Men's Shaver and while the low price made me hesitate, I figured that I had little to lose if I wasn't happy. To my surprise I found this to be the very best electric razor I have ever owned--and I have owned many in my 81 years. This Panasonic Razor does a excellent shaving job, is very easy to use and to clean, and also is very quiet running. Obviously I am very very happy with my purchase and I recommend it to every one who needs a new electric razor! You will not be disappointed!Customer Review: Great price, great product

$30 for an electric shaver is a bargain - it's easy to spend $100 or more. I was skeptical that the quality wouldn't be there but actually it's just as good as the Braun I replaced. I love the wet shaving feature which I find considerably better than dry shaving.
My only gripe is that the charger isn't very sensibly designed - it mounts the shaver directly into the socket. This is problem in standard US sockets where the female side is vertical so the shaver falls out. Why they didn't just use a cord like every other shaver out there, we'll never know.
Other than that, highly recommended!
