I have tried several different electric razors before and usually end up with razor burn and discomfort. This is the first time I have tried a Panasonic electric razor and now have been using this razor for 1 month and love it, especially the fact that I can shave my face while wet - have not had any razor burn yet. Recently traveled and loved the fact that I could clean the razor simply by running it under water. I used my new ES8168S Men's Vortex Hydra Clean System with Convex razor today for the first time after having used a Braun Foil shaver for many years, and must say I fell in love with my new buy immediately. I have a very heavy beard and this razor steadfastly yet gently shaved it all off like none has ever done before. Normally I have to repeat strokes over and over again, this one just got it all in one pass. THANK YOU for inventing this machine.Customer Review: Best I've ever used

I have used many electric shavers over the past 35 years, including models from Braun, Norelco and Remington. None of these has ever worked as well as this shaver. In the past, when I have let my beard grow for 2-3 days, I could never get my electric shaver to work well. This shaver cuts right through, as if I had just shaved the day before. The closest shave I have ever had with no skin irritation at all. Do yourself a favor and order this shaver.Customer Review: Smooothh..... Shave

The shaver is awesome. It cuts real close. I am glad I read the reviews of this shaver here on Amazon. It's a pretty accurate review that this shaver is one of the best. I have tried other brand, such as Braun. This beats it hands down.This is my second Panasonic shaver. I had the previous one for 8 years. They do last. This one was made in Japan, not China. I did alot of homework before buying this shaver. I have had great luck with Panasonic razors, and knew that I would buy another. The question was: Which model? This model fits well in your hand, and feels solid. The base is great and performs charges and cleaning very competently. I profess that I do not use the cleaning feature that often, but it is nice to have. Overall.....a very close shave, and a very well made product.
