Customer Review: Won't squeeze your arm off

Age has crept in, and it was time to start being proactive on my health. My wife and I looked for a blood pressure monitor that:
1) Wasn't going to cost and arm and a leg.
2) Didn't squeeze your arm in two.
3) Light weight.
4) Easy on batteries, and/or, capable of using an A/C adaptor.
Our past experience is this type usually inflated to 180 lbs. or more, no matter what your BP is, whereby squeezing your arm nearly off and bruises the crap out of her arm while taking the readings in the pressure release. My wife has a fair complexion and bruises easily, and I since really do love her, we needed one that was easy on her. I have also had experience using several wrist style monitors, and they had a hard time reading my BP accurately. We searched reviews just about every where, and decided on this one due to the good reviews on multiple sites.
Here are my comments:
1) You get to keep your body parts! The price is good.
2) The one thing that stood out about this monitor is it does not squeeze your arm off. It takes the readings while inflating and does not go up but a few lbs. over your BP. It DOES NOT run up to 180 before it starts taking readings (I had no idea one existed until now). I have not been accused of abuse :-), my wife's arm has not been bruised using this monitor :-). OK, I'm just joking about the abuse, but seriously, no bruises!
3) It is light weight, relatively small for the style, and has a nice carry case for travel. It is not as small as the wrist style, but functions better for me.
4) Though this monitor does not come with an AC adaptor, it does have a provision for attaching one. I am sure a Wally World, Ratchet Shack, or Geek Squad techie can assist you on which one you need. I have several dozen left over from items long past that will work. Or, just ask your 5 year old grand kid which one will fit...
Bonus:
It is easy to use! One button to start it, one button for memory (my wife is Googling for someone that will install a memory button on me).
To this date, it has worked flawlessly, does not run the batteries down quickly, and has not squeezed any arms off. With this device (and fish oil) I have not taken any prescription medicine, and am not concerned if my BP is too high, or too low. I did have to back off of the fish oil a bit as my BP was getting too low, with this monitor I know when to increase/decrease daily. I can now maintain a healthy BP, my stress level is down, and, people at work almost like me now (not so sure that is a benefit).
I give this item 5 stars because it has done everything I required. It also has replacement arm bands that easily plug in to main part. I hope this review helps someone decide.
