Customer Review: Automatic Digital BP monitors are not accurate.

I recently did lot of research to buy a good automatic digital BP monitors. After trying out all the products on the shelf, here is my conclusion - None of the Non-Commercial grade automatic digital BP monitors are accurate. Even the mean value is no where near accuracy. Please buy a Mercury based one, train your partner/friend and get frequently tested. Most economical and accurate way of checking your BP.

I took this Panasonic EW31225 to my doctor and it was exactly with the same pressure my doctor got with his manual test. It is quiet and easy to use, but does take a bit to get use to putting the arm band on. It is also hard to plug in the hose in the back of the unit, but that is the only problem I have had with it. I am surprised that they can make such a quality product for such a resonable price.Customer Review: Very happy with this unit

High quality unit with easy to follow instructions. The build is really good and the display clear and easy to interpret. Color coding the results gives a really quick perception of the diagnosis. Dual memory slots allows you to share the device and track history with another user and the summary shows the median values. This is an excellent blood pressure monitor. The instructions that came with this monitor were clearly written. I had no problems setting this device up. The readings are accurate. I have found this monitor to be very easy to use. The main reason I purchased this device was that it was made by Panasonic. I was suspicious of the relatively low price, but I needed something more than a wrist cuff for my husband who had just returned home from the hospital. I was pleasantly surprised at it's ease of operation and accuracy. You're also able to track two different blood pressure histories and the machine alerts you when the readings are within the hypertensive range. Good machine at a great price.
