Customer Review: Great for those with coarse dry hair

I would have given it 5 stars but let's face it, Paul Mitchell isn't cheap. But for those willing to spend the money the PM Super-Skinny Daily Shampoo seems to be the best that I've tried thus far. The nice thing is it doesn't take that much since it foams well. I've tried a lot of store bought, and salon style shampoos and conditioners over the years and although I've been placated, this is the first time I was happy. While I've been using this for only a couple of weeks I have been very impressed with the product.
I have thick, long, coarse, and dry hair. I always have had to use conditioner daily, this was the first time I used a shampoo that did not strip out any natural oils in my hair. It was a real refresher to finally find a shampoo that I could use alone and still be able to get a comb through my hair both wet and dry. It rinses out cleanly and does not leave a film either. The smell is light and not heavily florally like some shampoos. It makes you hair healthy enough so that if you don't feel like shampooing everyday you don't have to. For those with dry hair you understand how rare those days are, especially in humid climates. Since my hair is much healthier I don't suffer the frizziness like I did before. Instead my hair is light, but lacking in the typical fly-away associated with frizzy hair.
For days you need a little more conditioning I'd recommend the PM Super-Skinny Conditioner which works great. The conditioner is very thick and covers well. It also does not leave excess waxy conditioning. I found since using the PM Super-Skinny Daily Shampoo I didn't need to use the conditioner every day, when I did it made my hair seem a little over conditioned, almost oily.
