Customer Review: Very Nice Mist Especially with Scented Oils

This unit puts out a very fine mist which for the small volume of water (1 cup) creates a surprising amount of humidification. It will run for three hours. The changing lights are very cool. I do wish it held more water though so that it would run all night. Try the oil with it; they produce an excellent smell, but do erase the fill line inside the unit. See link for oils. I really like this mister. So much so, I kept the 2nd one I ordered for my Mother-in-law. The best thing is that, with using oils (can be purchased on Amazon also), that the pleasant scents permeate the home. And because it is mist, it lingers long after the mister has stopped, which, by the way, surprised me. It takes only a small amount of water, and I use 3 drops of oil, and the mister goes for hours. I ENDED UP BUYING 2 OF THESE!! I REALLY ENJOY THE MIST, AND CHANGING COLORS OF THIS ITEM( IT CHANGES FROM RED,BLUE AND GREEN. IT IS REALLY SOOTHING HEARING THE LIGHT NOISE IT MAKES, I BOUGHT THE OILS AS WELL , AND HONESTLY I DONT CARE FOR THOSE, I LIKE PUTTING IN MINE, BATH AND BODY WORKS KIND, ALSO I NOTICED IF YOU PUT COLD WATER IN THE MACHINE IT GIVES YOU MORE MIST, WHICH I REALLY ENJOY. I was looking for a small size humidifier. This one is small, nice design, has changing colors, BUT it works a couple of hours and then runs out of water. So as a humidifier it is not efficient enough. It can be used different way. I bought a pack of scented oils and use Spa Mist for aromatherapy. It gives some humidity, plus nice lights, plus nice scent in the room. It really helps to relax and to fall asleep. And it turns off automatically. I do need scented candles any more.Customer Review: Low capacity

Essential oils will instantly dissolve the "fill line" inside. If you fill too high above this line, not much comes out.
This unit will shut off if it is nearly empty with about 1.5 cm of water in the bottom. It holds approximately 200 mL of water and will empty within about two to three hours.
It cycles every ~20 seconds through a rainbow of colours. The lid consists of three pieces which is two too many but it does work and the fan is quiet enough.
Not bad.
