I've been using Pert Plus shampoo and conditioner for about two decades. I'd used a variety of shampoos and never was particularly satisfied with any of them. Then "Consumer Reports" had an article in which they tested and rated shampoos and Pert Plus was the number one product on the list. Interestingly, the various products were blind tested and one of the test samples was Ivory Dishwashing Liquid. The Ivory came out ranked about in the middle and easily outdid some rather snooty and expensive brands of shampoo. Out of curiosity, I tried the Ivory and found it to be as good or better than some of the brands I had been using, plus it was a lot cheaper. My only complaint with the Ivory was that it was more difficult to rinse off. In any case, I also tried the Pert Plus shampoo and conditioner and was immediately sold. My washed hair came out soft, clean and easy to manage. I've never used anything else, except on an emergency basis, since that time.
All of this recently came to mind when I began dating a woman who is now my fianc?e. She was very particular about the care of her hair and had a variety of shampoos purchased in beauty shops. All were rather expensive. One day she ran out. I suggested she could use my Pert Plus. She said there was no way she would put my shampoo on her hair. The problem was, she needed to wash her hair and there was no other way she could do it under the circumstances. So, reluctantly, she used mine. She was so favorably impressed with the Pert that she now uses nothing else. However, she still uses an expensive, heavier-duty conditioner which she gets at beauty shops. I'd say that was a pretty good testimonial. This is a very good product. Give it a try and see what you think.
Pert Plus shampoo and conditioner comes in a variety of types to satisfy people with different needs. This is the variety I prefer. It also comes in a variety of different sizes. I usually purchase the 25.4 ounce size at my local discount store.
