The Norelco Replacement Heads are great, but it was difficult to actually get them. After I placed my order I recieved some type of electronic cable/cord in an envelope with no paperwork whatsoever. The only tip off I had that it was a result of my amazon order was that the word "Norelco" was on the outer mailing label. I sent an email about this information, and they did reply, and I did get the Norelco blades, but again my order arrived with no paperwork whatsoever. Just the replacement heads in a bag. Great product and I like amazon.com, maybe there was just a problem with this particular vendor.Customer Review: Great upgrade

It had been about four years with the same shaver heads, and I noticed it was starting to run out of battery quickly and lose its ability to cut hairs. I received an e-mail from Norelco about a discount offer to purchase replacement heads, and I took them up on the opportunity. I am quite pleased with how things have gone so far - the reviews are right, in that it does feel like a wholly new shaver again. I will wait to see how long these replacement heads last, but I feel that it's been a worthy investment so far.Customer Review: super savings delivery

Product arrived promptly and worked as expected. What was unusual was that super saving shipping PROMPTLY delivered the product. I have been disgusted in the past when I used ss shipping. Products were shipped all around the country in what appeared to be a deliberate delaying tactic which I assumed was meant to promote the more expensive shipping method. For me, delivery time definitely influences my purchase, such as newegg and others which ship and deliver promptly when free shipping is offered.Customer Review: How do you know???

When do you change blades in these Norelco Quadra models?
I bought mine in 1999 and still on the original set of blades; I use it daily.
Yes, I suppose I notice a bit of an increase in the time it takes me to get all the hair off, but ...... how much of an improvement will I see for my twentyfive bucks?
I'm tempted to try, but also tempted to just wait and get a new model, (a Norelco OF COURSE!!) some of which are around fifty bucks.
What do you think?

Norelco recommends that you replace the shaving heads once a year for optimal performance. I forgot all about this and noticed that it was taking longer and longer to get a smooth shave. When I read the instructions that came with the razor I realized that it had been almost 5-years.
The installation was simple, the cost very reasonable (considering 5-years) and I couldn't believe what I had been "gradually" missing as far as a quick, very smooth shave.
My razor is like brand new.
