I purchased the Philips Norelco HQ8 Spectra Tripleheader Replacement Head for my husband's razor. He told me his razor was acting up and he thought he needed a new one. I got on line and read the reviews on this razor and found all he needed was the replacement head. After receiving it he put the replacement on his razor which took a matter of seconds and used it right away. It worked fine. He was so happy and relieved and the razor is still going strong and doing the job. He loves it and I'm glad I found this through all the other reviews.

I've been a Norelco triple headed electric razor user for over 25 years. The razor which I use now is one which is about four years old and still going strong. Replacing the blades [heads] every 6 - 12 months is still cheaper than purchasing a new Norelco razor. I've not noticed any irritation after installing new heads, just a better shave with less effort. Keep your old razor and replace the heads! You can't go wrong! Amazon's price for these HQ 8 Spectra replacements was the lowest I could find on the Internet. Shipped very fast!

Excellent product, but poor service from Amazon. I requested free shipping, and I understand shipping times from date of mailing until date of receipt. However, this product did not ship until three or four days after the date of my order, and I received no logical explanation from Amazon. (Christmas orders from Amazon received excellent service, so I can't understand the long delay here.) They finally offered me a courtesy $10 credit on my next order, but prompt fulfillment of order would have been much better.

Tried to purchase this item but it was lost in the mail. Amazon tried to send me another one but that one was on back order. Needless to say I canceled and received a credit for the order. Thanks to Amazon for a quick credit and response. Maybe it wasn't them but their supplier. Got this product from another source and works great. Although, it seems to perform as well as the 3yr. old blades that were in the shaver. They recommend replacement once a year? I think not. Still a great shaver anyway.
Customer Review: Didn't receive what was pictured Summary: 4 Stars
It would be helpful if there was a more accurate photograph of the parts that will actually be received. The image on the package displays three cutting heads for the Norelco razor, in the housing, leading the viewer to believe that the whole assembly is what is being purchased. What arrives is three individual cutting heads with the cutting blades inside. What I needed, and thought I was getting was the entire assembly pictured on the package. I still have an unusable razor with a broken housing.
