I just replaced the OEM HQ8 heads from my 7110x with this HQ9 (although they aren't recommended from Philips Norelco) and it was a completely different story from "before & after". The HQ9 has 2 more set of fins per head compared to the original HQ8... and what a difference!
It's not just me, but your skin... that will appreciate this upgrade for your shaver!

Amazon had the best price and the shipping was fast. Original replacements for a lot less and free shipping! The only negative I give is that it was shipped USPS in an envelope and the original Norelco box arrived crushed. Thank goodness the blades are also enclosed in a plastic blister pack that protected them. I searched the web for the best price on OEM replacement heads for my Norelco Razor.
Some heads were not made by Philips Norelco but Amazon had the proper heads and at
the best price. Also with free shipping. They are working just like the ones that
came with my razor. I plan to replace my heads every two years. Good job Amazon!

Replacing the heads definitely makes a difference. It's easy to ignore on an electric razor but it's important to do. Putting new blades in cut down on irritation since it takes less time to cut. Norelco recommends doing it yearly, which sounds about right but you can wait until you notice it starts taking you longer to shave. I've had Norelco shavers in the past that would give you 2 years between cutter changes, but I only got one year out of the original set. Having said that, as soon as I plopped these babies in, it was immediately back to the silky, blade like shave I experienced when I first bought the razor. I love the shaver, and the baldes are great!
