I have always loved my Norelco because it does a better job shaving than anything else. However, the quality of shaves I had been getting were deteriorating over the last few months despite keeping the head really clean. So I thought a new head was in order. Once changed to the new head I was disappointed. The shaves were better but not what they were when the razor was new. This may not be the fault of the razor. Things change and the condition of my face and beard may be at fault. I cannot be certain.
The price of this sale was good but for about the same price and without the price of shipping I could have purchased this product at a local store and not had to wait three weeks for it.

After using my Norelco razor for a couple years, I replaced the blade heads thinking that I should see a noticeable improvement in the cutting quality. Sadly, I can't really tell a discernible difference between the cut of the old heads and the new ones. I can only think that this means a) old heads were holding up as well as when new and it was only my impression of the passage of time that made me think they were dulling, or b) the sharpness of the new heads was not manufactured with a quality standard that would have shown a vast improvement over 2 year old blades. Disappointing performance from Norelco, nonetheless, and at a head replacement cost that is higher than most other models.Customer Review: Waste of Money, Won't Buy Again

I was initially impressed by this line of razors and its blades, but no more. Having owned and used one of these razors for 1 and 3/4 years I won't be buying another one. The blades work great the first month. Ok the second and third month. But then quickly go down hill. Won't shave my beard worth beans anymore. I found myself returning more and more to my Gillette Fusion razor with increasing frequency each day; first to "touch up" what the Norelco missed, then inevitably for full shaving creme and razor shaves. If you want to keep using the Norelco it means you have to buy replacement blades far more often then you should; making the total cost of ownership excessively unreasonable.Customer Review: Works better than expected

I was skeptical, especially after reading some of the other reviews but found this product to be better than expected. It was easy to install and I'm all thumbs. It works so well, I've switched back to my electric. The price was at least $10 less than what I would have had to pay at the local retail store. Would recommend and will buy again when needed. The original blades lasted nearly 3 years and I have a pretty heavy beard. I usually use my electric three to four times a week and shave with regular blades (in the shower) two or three times a week. These replacements feel every bit as good as the originals did.Customer Review: Work just as well as the 4-year-old original blades

I had my shaver for 3-4 years and used it at least 5 days a week. I figured that after that period of use the blades were probably dull, but I just never noticed because it happened so gradually. These replacement blades are pricey, but I figured that it would be worth it if it meant I'd get better performance out of my shaver. I was wrong. I didn't notice any difference, even after several months of use (in other words, there's no "break-in" period). My advice is to only replace the heads in your shaver if there's an obvious problem or degradation in performance. It was a waste of money for me.
