Norelco products are great. I order the blades at least once a year for my shaver. I ordered the hair nose trimmer , which I have yet to use but am sure it will work out ok... One thing if I may make a comment. It took me about an hour to open the damn package, cutting threw all the plastic. I am seventy two years old and my hands dont work that well and I was afraid of stabbing myself with the scissors. I finally had to ask a neighbor to help me out. My husband has owned his Norelco shaver for ten years and had never replaced the blades. Finally, he thought his shaver was dying. I logged on to Amazon to find the replacement heads, and behold, it is just like a brand new shaver. Who knew you were supposed to replace those heads every year? Guess it helps to read the owner's manual! At any rate, I got my order superfast, in just a couple of days! I've used Norelco razors since I was 15, 48 years ago, but my next razor won't be a Norelco. I replaced my old razor with a newer model last Spring (the 8140XL). In the past, I would replace the heads every few years, but with this razor after 6 months the heads needed replacing. I've now used the replacement heads for 3 months and they have already grown dull! It's obvious that Norelco has succumbed to the idea that their profits are really in selling the heads rather than the quality items they used to sell. Shaver was 5+ years old with original heads. Prompted by email from Norelco email, I bought replacement heads. Price was good and delivery was fast. Couldn't believe the improvement with the new heads. I had forgotten how good the Norelco shaver was until the new heads were installed. Recommend a very thorough cleaning of the part that holds the heads and be careful that each rotating blade stays with the head it came in since they are a matched set.
Like getting a brand new shaver for under $30!! Go for it.

I bought these new replacement razors after owning a Norelco speedXL series for over a year now.
These replacements were very easy to install and make for a much better shave than the dull old blades I replaced which were beginning to 'yank' the hairs out instead of cutting them.
I was kinda hoping owning new blades would alleviate the razor burn, however it did not. Also nicked me a few times.
Hopefully they will make a much easier way to shave in the future....sigh.
