This product actually works pretty darn well, when it is functional. I bought one of these and really liked it. However, it broke within one week. I don't even have much nose hair. I just like to keep it clean.
I figured maybe that was a fluke and went out and got another one. I didn't think it would be worth my time to get the company involved and try to get a free one. I figured I would just pop over to the store and get another one. I did, and it broke after about 3 weeks.
So, I have had enough and will be trying a different nose hair trimmer.

This is really a good nose and ear trimmer. I'm very particular about trimming nose and ear hair. I used to use an old Norelco battery operated razor for about 20 years. The blades finally wore out and I was left with the problem of replacing it. Ordered this product and now I am completely satisfied with its performance. As always, the packaging is the most complicated - the product is sealed as tight as Fort Knox. Gee, I wish they could make packaging more simple to get into. All in all, this is a very good product and does a very fine job. I highly recommend it.Customer Review: great for eye brows, okay to poor for nose/ear hair

This is awesome for trimming eye brows. Put on the length guard. Pass over twice . Your done.
This is okay, sometimes poor for trimming nose and ear hair. Pass over several times. Then you still have to sort of wiggle this just right for it to cut some of the finer nose/ear hair.
Works reliably.
Never cuts the skin. I feel safe putting this up my nose.
Nice design.
AA battery is convenient. No bulky re-chargers to cram into the bathroom drawers. Small and simple to store.

I've used the rotary trimmers and the Conair type but nothing is as good as this one! It was the most expensive but is absoultely the best in doing the nose hair trimming. I read the reviews about how unreliable it was and those reviews were old (back in 08 and 09. They must be doing something different because this unit comes with a 3 year warranty -- that's unheard of in this line of appliance. Definitely gives the closest trim with no discomfort. I'm buying a second one for use at my condo on the beach -- I'd give this thing 6 stars if that were possible!!Customer Review: Dont love it, but dont hate it either.

Its basically just like any other trimmer (serated blades moving back and forth), thats designed to get into small places. Its not perfect, but it does the job.
I dont love it, I dont hate it, and the price was reasonable. If I were to buy over again though, i'd probably look into one with a different cutting mechanism on the end. The advantage to the way it is now though, is you can really get up in there and deforest the shnaz. Dont be over zealous though, some hair up there has evolved to be in place for a reason (filters dust / particulates).
