Customer Review: Replacement heads not much of an improvement

I would break this review into two parts. First, the dealings with Amazon, which would rate 5 stars. Accurate and very fast delivery and the best price anywhere around - what else can I say?
For the product itself, it did not satisfy as I had hoped. Let me back up in time and say that about 3 years ago, I purchased a Norelco Speed XL electric shaver. I was very happy with that shaver (as I had been with other Norelco shavers over the years). However, after about a year, the rechargeable battery developed problems and Norelco, rather than replace the shaver with a like model, wanted to give me an "upgrade" to the Arcitec model. I agreed and they sent the replacement (it was supposedly a higher priced, better shaver). I can't say that I have ever been totally happy with that shaver - it just doesn't do the job. It requires many passes over an area to get the whiskers, and if some have been missed and grown from whiskers into short hairs, forget it - get out the old Trac II razor. As well, the trimmer on the Arcitec is all but useless. Anyway, that aside, this review is to cover the replacement heads. They arrived as advertised, and the one really good thing to say is that they are really easy to replace. However, the change I had anticipated (my old head was a little over a year old) was not realized. I am almost shocked at how little an improvement I saw (and felt). I think if the shaver lasts to the point that I need another replacement head, I may literlly go back to the old shaving cream and razor. Time wise, by the time I go over my face 3 or 4 times, and still don't have a really good shave, I could do the blades and feel really smooth.
