Customer Reviews of Philips Sonicare Advance 4300 Power Toothbrush

Customer Review: Just what I wanted...
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my second Sonicare toothbrush. (I blew up the first one overseas using an apparently inappropriate plug converter--oops!--my fault, not a Sonicare problem.) I wanted another version of the older Sonicare--maybe it was the familiar-with-comfort-level or maybe it was also the physical difference but I just prefer the older models versus the newer ones. Anyway, it was exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier! My dentist recommended the Sonicare years ago. Since using this toothbrush, I have continually received many compliments on how white my teeth are. My dentist also comments every time I visit on how nice my teeth are. How can you beat that?

Customer Review: Battery Life of the Sonicare Advance Models
Summary: 5 Stars

I want to respond to the fellow who said his brush is an expensive throwaway. I bought mine in 3/2000 and it JUST died on me -- that's six years of longevity. I had left it unplugged for several days, not realizing that the battery could be dying or dead. Right now I'm frantically searching for the exact same brush, and I'm having trouble because all I know of the model number is, it's an Advance series PS1. Well, my point is that I think the brushes are excellent, I think it's a quality product and I'm sorry he had such a bad experience.

Customer Review: Great as ever.
Summary: 5 Stars

I recently purchased this as a replacement for my orignal Sonicare brush which I've had for over ten years. The unit stopped working and I chose the same Sonicare Advance model as the the original one I had. The the new unit is made and works just as well as the old one. Also, much to my suprise the old one started working again so now I have a spare. I definitely love my Sonicare toothbrush and wouldn't be without one.

Customer Review: Charge It!
Summary: 4 Stars

In the comments above or below that state the battery dies after a while, you must realize that all rechargeable batteries (NiCd, NiMH, Li-ion, etc) last for approximately 1000 charge/discharge cycles. If you brush your teeth only once per day, you should expect the batteries to die in about 3 to 4 years. If you brush twice a day, the batteries will die sooner. That is the physical nature of rechargeable batteries.

Customer Review: The Best Tooth Brush
Summary: 5 Stars

With little effort this tooth brush will clean your teeth
squeaky clean. Your tongue will feel the difference. I have been using this tooth brush for years and everytime
I visit the dentist for my semi-annual cleaning, the dental
assistant has very little to do in cleaning my teeth.
