Customer Reviews of Philips Sonicare HX7002/62 e-Series Standard Replacement Brush Heads, 2-Pack

Customer Review: My teeth have never been cleaner!
Summary: 5 Stars

If you want a great toothbrush that really gets your teeth clean, then this Sonicare Elite is for you. I was very hesitant to initally even purchase an expensive toothbrush, but once I read the reviews and did the math, it made sense. This toothbrush will leave your teeth with the same feeling you get after seeing your dentist - very smooth and clean.

My husband and I actually share one toothbrush and just purchase the replacements heads that we swap out each morning. This has been a great way to save money while we both take advantage of the great cleaning. If you get a chance to purchase these heads when their on sale, do so! I got a great price and then saved even more with a coupon, using Amazon.com. Remember, each replacement head lasts about six months.

Customer Review: 2-pack is cheaper than 3-pack
Summary: 4 Stars

These are great toothbrushes and replacements- I've used them for years.
But the economics of size don't apply: the standard 3-pack is a bout $12/brush at present whereas the standard 2-pack is more like $10 each.

Not only that, but the "subscription plan" Amazon offers may make more sense at a minimum rate of 2 brush heads each 6 months than does 3 brush heads each 6 months. This way my wife & I can both be reminded at 6 month intervals and refreshed for just $8 apiece. I know they advise 3 month intervals but I do 6.

One fellow said that he longs for the O-ring that goes underneath these refills and he's absolutely right: mine is long gone, and I have to clean black crud out of the handle well with each replacement. Yuk.

Customer Review: high price for toothbrush, but worth it
Summary: 5 Stars

Yes, Sonicare electric toothbrushes and their replacement heads do cost money. It's money very much well spent. My gums no longer get sore from recession from vigorous tooth brushing. I used to brush over vigorously with soft bristle manual toothbrushes and it wore at my gum line. Now I use the Sonicare Essence and no longer have that problem. Not only that, but my teeth feel cleaner than they ever did using a manual toothbrush. I don't have ANY cavities either (27 years old) - been using since I was a teen. So I only have to go to the dentist for prophalaxis (cleanings) and checkups/X-rays. So basically, the money you spend on prevention saves you the money you would have spent on imperfect fixes to oral health problems. What's more "painful"?

Customer Review: Sonicare toothbrush
Summary: 4 Stars

I am well pleased with this product, which I received as a gift. I was a bit skeptical about an "electric toothbrush" thinking it was merely a gimmick for people too lazy to even exert any effort to brush their teeth. It took a few days to get used to the tingling vibrations when using the brush, and I quickly learned to not remove the toothbrush from my mouth while it was turned on (toothpaste splattered all over bathroom mirror, etc). This toothbrush is easy to use and does an excellent job. I have noticed an increase in the whiteness of my teeth. I have taken it with me on trips of up to a week without the charger and have had no problem with it dying on me. At home, I just put it in the charger base after using and it is always ready to go.

Customer Review: Love the e-Series
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been using sonicare toothbrushes for the past 7 years and I have to say, there is no better brushing experience than when you exchange your old head with a brand new one out-of-the-box. Sonicare uses gentle bristles but has a high speed movement that removes all plaque from your teeth. The e-series head replaces heads from, well, the Sonicare e-series brushes. They are constructed well and last for a long time. I usually change my brush head every 4-6 months... Why so long? Because they are pricey.

Aside from the price, these heads are great. About that price: Now that you can subscribe to delivery on Subscribe and Save, you can save 15% more off of Amazon's already low price. That is a deal you just can't pass up!
