The first Pillowsonic Stereo Pillow Speakers I ordered malfunctioned within days of receipt. The plug did not work at all with my MacBook Pro computer and only sporadically with my portable video viewer. After about 10 days, the right channel quite working.
The replacement speakers seem to be doing better after the first week. They work with my MacBook Pro and with the video viewer, and so far both channels are functioning as they should.
A useful feature would be an inline volume control.
I will reserve a better score (now three stars, maybe higher in the future) according to how the speakers perform over time.

I love listening to my meditation/relaxation music as I fall asleep and have been searching forever to find a better way to do this than a small stereo or irritating ear-buds.
with this in my pillow I don't notice any bumbs or bulges to irritate my neck (I am prone to neck problems-and I have to sleep with my neck a certain way each night) and I fall asleep wonderfully listening to my favorite music.
If I were to break my pillow stereo I would immediately get another. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a convient way to listen to thier music while falling asleep at night.

These speakers are the only ones you'll ever need to lull yourself into a relaxing, peaceful sleep. They are extremely comfortable, and when inserted into your pillow case, you won't realize they exist. These are the greatest idea and the most comfortable stereo pillow speakers I have ever owned. Because of their compact design, they are easily transportable for vacations, business trips, etc. enabling you to get a good night's rest any where you go. I love them and can't live without them. I purchased this item unsure of how good it would work and if it would be comfortable. To my surprise, it was better than any other pillow speaker I have purchased over the years. The sound quality is excellent, no distortion, and worked well under my pillow; soft and easy on the ear. However, it did not perform as well under the sheet. Volume was too low and by the time I got it loud enough for myself, it was also loud enough for my husband to hear as well. I use this each night to help me unwind for the day and drift off to sleep. I would purchase it again with NO hesitation!!Customer Review: Expected little

Well worth the money! I bought this product not expecting much, but I am very pleased. I enjoy falling asleep to Christian meditation CD's and music, but my wife must have total silence in order for her to sleep. This product is great! My biggest concern was that my iPod would not have enough power from it's headphone output jack to amplify this product, but it get's much louder than I expected. Please keep in mind that you must have an ear to the pillow in order to hear the speakers. If you sleep on your back with your head facing strait up you will not be able to hear very well.
