I bought this brush as the cost of getting all of the equipment for wet shaving was large. First, this brush is better then a Boars hair brush. As we actually were given a kit with one that started me on this path. Right after receiving mine. My roommate was given the "best badger." There is a HUGE difference. Especially after using it repeatedly. The larger surface area of the Best is great for making a quicker& thicker lather and the brush holds more water. This brush shed a little bit, but now the outside bristles are getting crimped and wearing already. While the Best is still in perfect shape.
I would really recommend just making the jump to a 50-70$ brush. Do it now and save your self from buying two. I have also found that the safety razors are a closer shave by far. Combined with a good soap and man what a difference. Ingrown hairs have become a thing of the past. My skin is in great shape and it feels so smooth! Good choice on your switch the wet having. Its not only something you will enjoy, trust me!
