This little mixer is great for powdered shakes that are hard to mix well, especially the protein shakes that have lumps that are hard to get out. It is not meant for making shakes you add ice cubes to or for adding fruit because there are no blades to cut up pieces into smaller pieces, but it works really well for powdered shakes. I like it because it is small enough where it doesn't take up much room, is easy to clean and has a measuring line on the cup itself. This relatively cheap mixer does a fantastic job blending workout/protein supplements and similar powdered liquid additives. Obviously this device is not a blender replacement and is ill suited to blending up fruits, ice, etc. If you are looking for something to take the pain out of choking down clumpy protein mixes this is the perfect device. As an added bonus, it is cheaper than many comparable alternatives making it painless to replace if it craps out after a while of heavy use.Customer Review: very disappointed

The little punk mixing mechanism is made of an uber thin piece of plastic. It's barely able to move water, let alone a fruit and ice-filled smoothie. If all you want to mix together is liquid and powder, then this will do the trick (but really, you could do better by just shaking it!). If you want to mix a smoothie, you'd better keep looking. I got it at a "discounted rate" with one of my previous purchases. This thing is a dud. It's true that it'll only stir liquid, and powder. I tried adding banana slices,and chopped ice to my shake, and it wouldn't work. Cleaning it was a pain. Water would get into the motor/battery compartment. The motor/battery eventually rusted, and died. Maybe I was too hard on it, lol.Customer Review: Power Mixer doesn't

I was very dissapointed with the power mixer after I tried it out for the first time.
All the mix stayed at the bottom of the glass. The plastic mixer is too short and doesn't reach the bottom. The only thing it mixed up was me into buying it!
If you read this take my advice...It doesn't live up to it's name!!!...
