Customer Reviews of Prenatal Plus DHA Complete 16 ozCustomer Review: Tastes great, easy to take Summary: 5 Stars
Some things I like about Prenatal Plus DHA Complete:
-Easy to take - I hate pills, liquid vitamins are awesome
-Can take 1 tablespoon in the morning and one at night, to spread out the vitamins/minerals absorption
-DHA is supposed to be good for baby brain development
-Red Raspberry Leaf is supposed to tone the uterus
-The iron they use doesn't make me constipated or sick
One important thing to remember, however, is to shake the bottle really well. Sometimes if I don't shake well, the color and consistency of the liquid seems different between the top of the bottle and towards the bottom, so I wonder if I'm getting the same dosage of vitamins each time.
Customer Review: A Male Taste of Mind Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a male, never been pregnant or anything (Ha ha, imagine if I was, it'd be hilarious. You know, a man giving birth, just imagine it. Ha ha. Now what if they made a movie about it? That'd be hilarious as well. Like, a full length motion picture and the premise is "Hey this dude is giving birth, LOL!" Ha ha, someone call Akira Kurosawa, I got his next motion picture all lined up for him! HA HA!)
Oh yeah, this drink tastes pretty good. I usually mix it with some Captain Morgan to help it go down a bit easier, but you don't have to. It tastes perfectly fine just on its own.
LOL I'm just laughing at that idea for a movie. Oh man, that'd be like a Oscar winner right? Ha ha!
Customer Review: Great for sensitive stomachs--not just from morning sickness Summary: 5 Stars
I spent about $100 on different prenatals before trying this one. So glad I found it! I have IBS (irritable bowel) so my stomach is very sensitive. The other pills were giving me bad abdominal cramping, but I had to take something. These are very gentle on the stomach. They still taste "vitaminy" a bit, but if you mix with grape juice, you can hardly taste it. I've also heard that liquid vitamins get absorbed better. If you've got a sensitive stomach, try this! The nice thing is that you can divide up the dose: 1 Tablespoon with lunch and 1 Tablespoon with dinner... plus you won't burp up the vitamin after! :) I've even taken this in the morning with breakfast without a problem.
Customer Review: Better than any other prenatal! Summary: 4 Stars
I got this product because I had spent my first trimester cutting up the big horse pills I was first given. I have always had a problem with swallowing big pills plus the pills made me feel terrible! I had completely given up and stopped taking prenatals alltogether and then I bought this. It is easy to use-one tbsp in the morning and one at night. It doesn't make you sick so you can take it without food. No pills, no stomach sickness-all the same great stuff you need to give your baby the proper nutrition. It tastes like a mix between orange juice and grapefruit juice so if you don't like that taste, you may not like this.
Customer Review: Great for the Price & Taste! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this product several months back and it was money well spent. I was advised by my Dr. to take pre-natal vitamins before trying to get pregnant, never was good at taking pills, so I researched and found this product. It's sold cheaper on Amazon than at other websites (VitaminShoppe) and comes pretty quickly. The taste is very good, kind of reminds me of pineapple juice. You could do the shot, or mix it with your favorite juice. I would recommend this product to those who have trouble taking pills or may be nausiated during pregnancy. Now that I am pregnant, it makes me feel better that I have this :)
