Customer Review: Reliable clothing protection

My father has had two strokes. He feeds himself competently, but a spoonful of soup or a forkful of peas doesn't always successfully reach his mouth. I purchased this adult bib for him about two months ago. It has been washed and dried several times.
Pros:
= The waterproof backing seems durable, and does not show any wear after five washings.
= The terry cloth front quickly absorbs any spilled liquids.
= It covers the lap completely.
Cons:
= The terry side seems to have shrunk noticeably. It is still completely usable, but definitely does not look new.
= The neck fastener is a snap rather than hook and loop. This makes it more difficult to fasten and unfasten.
= The neck opening is not adjustable. It fits my father who wears a size large/xlarge, but if he were heavy or had a short neck it would be too snug for eating comfort.
= It seems slightly smaller than the Duro-Med Clothing Protector, Navy, an article that I find more useful and durable.
