I recently switched to Pureology Pure Volume shampoo and conditioner in hopes of obtaining more volume without losing the super-scalp-soothing qualities of Pureology's Colour Care/Antifade shampoo and conditioner products. What a mistake. As another reviewer noted, the "Pure Volume" products leave hair dry and uncontrollable. When I asked my hairdresser about this, she said that the "Pure Volume" products provide volume by opening up the hair shaft more. Apparently my hair shafts are already too open from years of monthly coloring. I'm returning to the Colour Care/Antifade products because they at least leave my hair glossy and healthy looking if not volume-enhanced.
