All the other reviews above a rather accurate. This product is a HUGE mess! I used it on a 8x8 area rug I have on my hardwood floor in my living room becuase it was starting to look a little dull. I shook the container and spread the product in a 2x5 fashion as directed. When I took the brush to incorporate it into the carpet I knew I had a problem. The product went everywhere, it "jumped" around on the carpet and my floors. After i completed the entire rug I let it sit for a about 30 min (as directed longer fiber carpets need a longer time to dry). I powered up my good Bissel Vacuum and went to work! In about 4 passes the entire canister was full of white powder, i emptied it and continued. About halfway through (and 4 canisters later) it stopped picking up the powder becuase the intake filter and HEPA filter was caked with this product. I took them out and beat them clean outside. I continued the vacuuming process. Finally after about 10 passes and 10 canisters later the powder was out of the carpet. To my dismay my vacuum had a coating of the RESOLVE product all over it and the filters were clogged again. Even worse from the vacuuming the fine powder had become airborne and coated my entire living room in dust.
This product is an absolute mess, I should have just called a steamer company to come out. All said and done it took about 2 hours from start to finish (clean living room again). The commercial advertised that you can clean your carpets 20min before guests arrive...If you don't mind your guests visiting when your house is coated in dust and smells like product then go ahead.
