Customer Reviews of RESPeRATE Blood Pressure Lowering DeviceCustomer Review: Resperate Device Summary: 1 Stars
Expensive...and after three months of daily use I can't say it has helped my blood pressure.
I record my blood pressure every morning at the same time...after getting up from nights sleep.
I use exercise equipment for 45 minutes after stretching exercises. Then breakfast and 15 minutes on Resperate Devise.
My blood pressure hasn't changed significently in the last six months and I continue to take blood pressure medicine.
The Resperate Device was used for the first six weeks just before bedtime - change in schedule hasn't changed blood pressure measurments to any significant extent.
I continue to use the device because of the fortune spent on it but wouldn't consider buying it again.
Customer Review: Starting To See Results! Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using the RESPeRATE for a little over three weeks now, and I am starting to see some positive results! My blood pressure before using the RESPeRATE was around 150's/100's- now after three weeks of two a day sessions(once in the morning and once in the evening), my pressure is around 130's/70's. To tell the truth, I was having trouble at first with it, and was getting very discouraged, however, like the moderators on the RESPeRATE forum have continued to say, breathing easy and naturally is the key to sucess, something that I was not doing the first few times that I used the RESPeRATE. Now, I am actually enjoying using it, it really makes me feel calm and tranquil after my daily sessions. A Big "thumbs-up" for the RESPeRATE!!! Thanks, JB
Customer Review: No new meds Summary: 5 Stars
RESPeRATE Blood Pressure Lowering Machine
I've had this for about 6 weeks now. After using it for a month, I had a scheduled doctor's appt to see how my bp was doing. After reviewing my bp home chart, she decided that I was keeping it under control and did not need another med and could even "play" with my HCTZ to see if I still needed it. I do use the machine 5 days a week. I also could probably lower the bp more by walking every day too. Does it really work or is it snake oil like some people say? I can't say for others, but I'm happy with my numbers now. For 15-20 minutes a day I sit, relax and do nothing but breath.
Customer Review: The proof's in the pressure! Summary: 5 Stars
Alright, I haven't used this personally. But I witnessed a most impressive display of its powers today in my clinic. My seventy-something year old patient is very interested in doing whatever it takes to improve her health. In the blood pressure department, that includes three different medications, one beta-blocker plus Lotrel, a two-fer drug that combines an ACE inhibitor and a calcium channel blocker.
You'd think that would be enough to knock points off the pressure. She was dismayed, however, that recent readings both off drugs and on were indistinguishable AND way too high. Before today's visit, she dusted off her Resperate and breathed to the tones. Her pressure in office? 120/78. I'm sold!
Customer Review: It does work Summary: 4 Stars
This product does work! I have a family history of HBP, and although I am in my 20s, excercise daily and eat right, my readings are climbing into the 140s/90s zone. I am pregnant right now, and I know that HBP is very bad during a pregnancy. So, I looked into Resperate. Since I started using Resperate (about a month) my blood presure has dropped about 8-10/8-10 pts. I am hoping that this trend continues. I use Resperate AT LEAST 4 times a week--I try for 5-7 times a week.
Yes the price is high, but Resperate (which is basicly meditation) is much better than putting chemicals in your body. And, for me, it is better than being put on bedrest and having your life taken from you. Try it!
