Customer Reviews of Rainshow'r Series 3000 Crystal Ball for the Bath

Customer Review: not helpful
Summary: 1 Stars

I have used this ball, and honestly, it's as if there was no filtration at all. The chlorine still burned my skin. It was a waste of money. I filtered through it, sat it in the tub and swirled it around and around, it had minimal impact on the effect of chlorine on my skin. I used the ball in place of the shower head because I was in temporary living conditions and could not replace the shower head where I was. I ended up buying a water pitcher filter using that to rinse my hair and skin after a shower. The shower filter is the best thing to use in my long experience with bath filtration products.

Customer Review: Wow! What a ball.
Summary: 5 Stars

I had been smelling chlorine each time we turned on our water and decided that even though expensive, I'd break down and buy this ball. Wow! You can actually feel the change in the texture of the water. And our skin is now very soft (it's winter and we'd been having to use a lot of lotion, but not anymore!). My daughter thinks it's another fun step in taking a bath--she helps swirl it around in the water.
I'm only a bit sad that it won't stay on my faucet as my faucet doesn't have the typical shower knob on it to hold the tie in place.
Highly recommended for every household!

Customer Review: Too much work
Summary: 2 Stars

Chlorine smell in your water? Yep, this will take it out if you have 5-10 mins to swirl the ball around BEFORE getting in the water. But there also comes a time where I have to weight a products effectiveness against the work I have to do to make it happen. For $30 and a lot of lukewarm bath water, I can't justify wasting my time. I've decided to shower more, using a water filter of course. I'll save the bath ball for when I'm unhurried and have a lot of time to waste.

Does it work? Barely... and then I'm still not sure I'm just imagining it.

Customer Review: Fairly cheesy plastic ball and pouch
Summary: 3 Stars

We use this for my 2 year old son in his small bathtub. I use it faithfully, but I don't know if it is working or not. Assuming it is helping some, then I am somewhat satisfied with the product, which is why I gave it 3 stars. However, the plastic ball has fallen apart into two halves and is pretty useless. So, we use the pouch alone. It is filled with a dry squishy substance, which I know because the pouch doesn't stay closed. But the material inside is contained with another bag. So, I am hoping for a better product to hit the market to filter chlorine from a bath.

Customer Review: It really works
Summary: 5 Stars

After moving to a new town and discovering the water here to be very stinky with chlorine I decided I needed a filter. By the way, not just the stink but my skin and scalp were so itchy and my hair just didn't seem that great anymore. One bath with this and I seriously had the best hair day since moving to town. My hair was soft and luxurious after blow drying it and my skin felt much better too. I have ordered a filtered shower head from Amazon also and am looking forward to recieving that.
