this thing really works. it made my bath water very smooth feeling and left my skin soft. i even washed my hair in the bath water and really noticed a difference in the softness. unfortunately it is alot of bother to use.
i am not using anymore because it ended up getting a little bit mildewy looking and i threw it out-- but it did work when i had it.
hoping to get a replacement for christmas.

...other than that, what's the problem? Seriously, every time I use this, the plastic ball pops open. Also, I've found little blobs of the blue spongy/foamy filtering material in my bath. Plus, it takes a few minutes for it to work. I was obviously not thinking clearly when I bought this (plus replacement cartridges). Not worth the price. I'm not certain it's making much of a difference either.Customer Review: Really Works!

I had one of these and doubted it worked until I stopped using it. Without it, I would sit in the bath and the water smelled overwhelmingly like chlorine. I just move it around in the water as the tub is filling. I'm not sure why it costs so much. The tab that holds the ball closed does NOT keep it closed, but that would be my only complaint. The important thing to note about this product is how it
is used. You have to first fill your bath tub, and then
pull the unit back and forth through the water to filter
the water. This may take a few minutes and if you are patient
it may work, if you get impatient or don't want to take the time,
don't bother with buying this product.

We purchased one of these approx. one year ago through Amazon. The unit hangs from faucet by cord attached to plastic outer shell. Several times the ball slipped off faucet, landing in tub. Result was the lower half of shell cracked and separated. Next the string came off, leaving us with a bag only. Pricey for the level of construction and benefits.
