Customer Review: Rapid re-charge batteries

Rayovac developed these batteries several years ago as part of a program to revitalize the company. They are somewhat more expensive than most rechargeables but the rapid re-charge feature more than justifies the price. In addition to the rapid recharge feature their 2300 mAh capacity insures very long life. I've been able to take over 400 photos on a Fuji S3100 and still have some charge left. Since these are NiMH batteries the user does not have to worry about battery memory - just give them a charge and go. I would guess my first set has been recharged around 250 times. They have shown no sign of deterioration so far. This product is a winner.Customer Review: Great

These batteries are great.
I just recently went to Mexico and used 4 of them in my Canon Powershot S2 IS. I charged them the day before I left, over 400 pictures later, they still worked great. They had enough energy left in them that I got another 15 pictures and 10 minutes of video out of them before I had to recharge them.
Unfortunately, these are nearly impossible to find. Besides Amazon.com, the only other place I can find them (even online) is at CompUSA. I don't even remember where I bought them in the first place. I would suggest stocking up on these and never looking back.

It is my understanding that Rayovac is no longer producing these batteries. Get 'em while you can because these are the *BEST* batteries for consumer goods I've ever used. 15 minutes fills em up, every time. Love it. WHY would they ever stop producing? Well apparently they tend to discharge fast while sitting on the shelf but 15 minutes later, they're all charged up and ready to go so who cares!
I love 'em!
Caveat: You do have to use their charger, but that seems like a small price to pay considering it's a *very* small charger and quite easy to use.

These batteries really fully charge in 15 minutes. Although I experienced a two or three minute delay while charging all four batteries together, which is NO big deal at all. These batteries and the charger are up to the standards and what they are said to offer. They last a long time and I have yet to see one of the batteries give up on me. They last especially long on digital cameras compared to other brands. I don't think anyone can beat this battery. It charges quick, it is durable and saves so much money in the long-run. It really does only take 15 minutes to charge them..and they hold their charge for a long time..I've been using these batteries for a couple of years now..saved a lot of $$$ by going with this particular battery charging system. I had different rechargeable batteries and recharger before..but those batteries took forever to recharge and they did not even hold their charge for that long before needing to be recharged again. I would buy more of these 15 minute Rayovac rechargeables..if only I could find them in my local stores..
