I bought these batteries and charger a few years back. They are still charging, while the Energizers that I got about a little after no longer would hold charge for more than a day or two. I used them mostly for wireless mouse, wii remote, camera, etc. Too bad Rayovac no longer makes them and retailers that still have them in stock are jacking up the price. Otherwise I would have bought more. Going to try my luck with the new hybrids.Customer Review: Don't hold a charge as well as I thought

I was a little dismayed that the advertisement for these batteries doesn't state that you HAVE to have the special "15 minute charger" to go with the "15 minute batteries". The regular charger takes them overnight to charge, just like every other rechargeable battery, and even then they don't hold a charge for very long. With normal use they last maybe a week. Granted, we have been using the flash a lot so maybe that's why.Customer Review: Out of Production AA 15min re-charge

These are very good batteries. We have been using them for +5 years. It was not until, I tried to buy some more that I found Rayovac stopped selling them 4 years ago due to "lack of sales". The seller was fast in sending them out, as stated the package was new and unopened. The price is kind of up there, but this guy was smart in grabbing them when Rayovac stopped selling them. Great batteries, definitely recharge in about 15-20 minutes and runs almost as good as other batteries.
Rayovac claims that we should be able to recharge about 1000 times. I think it would still be cost effective if we are able to do so about 600-700 times.
I use them in my kids electronics toys and the best part is that he just have to wait for about 15 minutes to make his toys run again.

Vendor was prompt in shipping. Batteries were charged as advertised for 15 minutes and put to use. I was surprised at how long they hold their charge. They do get very warm to the touch when charging but the charger seems to recognize that they are the 15 minute batteries and turns on a cooling fan to compensate. I ordered 8 of these and am happy I did as they serve a variety of purposes with great reliability.
