I purchased my rayovac batteries after looking at some reviews on the net. Someone did an experiment (for over 5 months) comparing all the hybrid batteries available and his conclusion was that all the hybrid batteries he tested (regardless of brand) had the same performance and running time. I purchased this set and tried it on my S700 digicam and I'm pleased to report to you that these batteries work great and really, really, really last long. I use my camera 6-7x/month and I only charged these batteries 3x during the past 9 months. It worked so well I purchased another set for my brother. So far, no complaints here.

I've been very pleased with the performance of these batteries - I paid $17 for the charger, 6AA+2AAA batteries and feel it was a good value. It's nice these batteries are charged when you get them, but even nicer that they seem to discharge at a much slower rate with non-use. This is great for items not frequently used, like flashlights in your car trunk, in which the batteries are bound to be dead unless you frequently check/replace them. In high-drain items with frequent heavy use, they also perform impressively (on a par with non-rechargables). I bought two additional 4AA sets from Sears at even less $$$ when they had a sale and coupons.Customer Review: ALL CHARGED UP

The charger works fine but the batteries are not performing as stated. First they died right away when put into use. after recharging
they really didn't give the expected life or use. Hmm maybe thats why you don't see them in the stores!
