These are simply great rechargeable batteries. They simply work as expected. The batteries are consistent in that they all work, I bought about 14 D batteries so far ... all great. They last about 1.5 days to 2 weeks with our baby toys (such as a papasan swing, bouncer, etc.). I bought other batteries with much more "capacity" but I have had inconsistent performance from those. These are great ... they may not last per session as long as the goliath batteries (over 5000 mAH) out there, but they are consistent and reliable.Customer Review: DOES THE JOB

I purchased these batteries for my flameless candles. They work real well for my purposes and I can now leave the candles on all the time and simply recharge the batteries about every two weeks or so. I don't think they would work as well for candles on a timer which last several months on two batteries and only use 5 hours a day of battery power since no rechargeable battery holds a charge like the alkaline ones do. Having said that, these do exactly what I purchased them to do and I am very pleased with them.Customer Review: Rechargeable's just got better.

I've been using Nicads for long, long time and while in some applications the alkaline might last somewhat longer... the money saved after just a couple of recharges is worth the extra expense of buying twice as many as one needs and just keep on recycling the batteries from flash units, GPS, walkie-talkie's, flashlights, etc. HOWEVER, these newer NiMH are just great. no memory shelf and longer current life. They are technically D batteries but when you get them they'll feel very light. In fact they almost seem like an AA battery in a D form factor.
After looking at the capacity, go figure. These are rated at 2900 mAh and some AA Duracel I have are at 2050. Better to go with higher capacity batteries.

I bought this for a baby swing that will get a lot of use and knew I didn't want to be throwing out batteries constantly. We timed the batteries in the swing (with weights in it) and found that it lasted about 9 hours.
