If I knew the Magnifier was not made out of Glass I wouldn't have gotten it. The plastic "magnifier" doesn't work and distorsts everything. It's just as hard to see, and a waste of money. Also instructions on cleaning it would help too, a lens cleaning cloth messed it up.Customer Review: desktop magnifyer

Don't waste your money on this piece of junk, barely magnifies the page, is bulky and the "magnifier" doesn't lock in place. No way can it be 4x by 6x magnification. I have a 5x mirror at home to puts this to shame.Customer Review: not what I hoped

This magnifier helps not only with reading at my desk, but also with my laptop screen for the smaller print that cannot be magnified with 'ctrl-shift-+' command.
