I purchased this scale about a year ago in order to weigh my cats. This scale is very accurate. It's perfect for cats- my cats don't mind it at all. I think the flat design is a better choice for cats than some other scales that have curved edges or raised borders. My cats can just walk right onto the scale and lay down without problems. I've never had to change the batteries, which is another plus. I purchased this a year ago when it was about $30 cheaper-- not sure why the price went up so much. Overall, a great scale for cat owners that need to monitor their cats' weight!Customer Review: Scale gives us peace of mind

We purchased this scale after a lot of searching and reading reviews. We made the right choice and are happy with this product. It's used to weigh our cat who has to have his weight monitored so we know when things are turning for the worse. The 1/4 oz digital calc is a plus. I found I can tare the weight while he lounges on it unsuspectingly and when he gets off I get the same accurate weight as a negative figure. Makes us both happy. The price was great without compromising quality. Oh, its slim profile is easy to store too!Customer Review: Not very accurate

If you're looking for a digital scale with great accuracy, this isn't it. It works alright, but only as a close estimation. We laid a blanket on the scale to make it softer for the babe, and it didn't even register as weighing anything, but it was a heavy fleece blanket, it certainly did weigh a few ounces. Her weight also registers the same whether she's clothed or not, etc. If I'd had a chance to test it out, I'd have chosen a different scale - the low price is reflected by a lower quality.Customer Review: Disappointing

I got this for weighing several cats and found it frustrating, inconvenient and ultimately defective. It has no button you can push to reset it to zero, so you have to keep turning it on and off between animals and waiting for it to reset itself. Also, it takes too long to register a weight, making it hard to use with fidgety or unsettled cats. By the time I got to the fourth cat, it wouldn't reset itself to zero at all even if I turned it off and left it off for a while. It's going back!Customer Review: Inconsistent

I purchased this to weigh my cat who is on a diet. She needs to lose about an ounce a week, so I was glad that this weighed in half ounce increments.
The issue I have is that I'm not sure if I trust the weight provided. I weighed her once and she was 9 lbs. 9 oz, and then a half hour later she was 9 lbs. 10 oz. In normal circumstances I would say it's good enough, but when I'm supposed to track by ounce and modify her diet based on what works, it's a bit tough.
