Customer Review: Great talking clock overall, with one issue

Bought it for an elderly relative (legally blind) who is very happy with it. She also has moderate hearing loss, wears a hearing aid as necessary, but can hear the clock just fine. Others have said the volume is too low, but it would probably only be too quiet for someone with heavy hearing loss.
The one flaw that I see is that it does not have an automatic way to disable the hourly announcement at night. Some of the others I looked at have this feature. Other than that, she is extremely happy with it.

I have owned one of these clocks for three years until I dropped it and broke it. Since I have really liked this clock, I immediately ordered a replacement. The replacement came in ten days, but was deffective. I then entered in to a cumbersome process with the dealer in which they sent me a return envelope (took two weeks) and I am now awaiting the exchange. Overall, it has been over six weeks and I still don't have an alarm clock. The problem could have been solved with better quality control from the start.Customer Review: the voice announcing the hour is almost unintelligible

I sent an email to the seller explaining the problems with the clock that I purchased and there was no response from the seller. The clock voice which announces each hour can not be understood. You can make out the am or pm but not the hour. The seller's exclusions make it near impossible to return the item.Customer Review: Happy Happy

My mom loves this little clock! It's small enough she can carry it around with her from room to room. She doesn't have to search for a button to push and it is a soft female voice that is not frightening. The clock was fine for what it did and it was probably my fault for not realizing what it wouldn't do. My mother-in-law was looking for a clock that would tell her the time and date. This one only told the time. I ended up purchasing a different Reizen talking clock that did both things.
