So far I have liked this product. The shortest setting allows you to cut the hair about 1/4 of a inch and the longest probably about 1 inch long. It's sharp, it cuts evenly and (so far) the batteries have lasted well.Customer Review: great trimmer and it lasts

I had another one of these that I purchased at a store for the same price, but without the feature of setting the length of cut.
It gets the job done easily and without fear of cutting!

I've had this trimmer for 3-4 years, with nary a complaint. My husband and i both use it, and it's the best personal trimmer either of us has owned. Definitely worth the $15 i paid at target.
