This shaver works like a charm. I have had mine for almost 2 years now while mine does need new blades it gave a little over a year on the first set of blades before needing to replace them. Which is really good compared to others I have tried.
The fact that it cleans itself is awesome. I havn't used any others but I cant complain really about this one. The LCD read out on the time isn't always correct but its usually fairly close. The charge time is great also. I do highly recommend this if your looking to get a really good abit expensive razor it is worth it though.

This is by far the best electric shaver I have ever used. If you use it as directed (not pressing it too hard into your skin), there is no way it can cut you or even irritate. I have sensitive skin, yet I can use this without any pre-shave products. The self-cleaning feature is outstanding as well. The shave I get is also much closer than with any other electric shaver I ever used-- I used to avoid electric shavers because they always left me with stubble; this one doesn't. Not so great. I Thought as a Remington it would shave great. But I have not found a rotary shaver that shaves very well. Convenient and easy, but not very good. Plus the cleaning system broke in a few months and could not be replaced or repaired, so now I have to clean it manually with water. The shaver itself is solid and strong, but shaves no better than any other rotary I have used.
Stick to the Remington Micro-screen. Best electric shave I have found.
Not happy about the "Made in China" label either.

My husband is a Drill Instructor for the Marine Corp. He always has to have a close shave. He works 18 hour days, and often can't even come home at night. The razor shaves close enough to get him through the entire day w/out needing a second shave, and the battery lasts for an entire hour worth of shaving! Perfect for when he has to take it with him when he's on the go! He loves it. I'd venture to say its the best one on the market. When I purchased this shaver, it was with the understanding that it was new. When it arrived it had scratches on the chrome surface, the on off switch was obviously worn. When I shaved with it my neck was not red from irritation It was red with blood, not just one spot. There were at least 30-40 places that were bleeding. It was delivered with no paperwork. I have no idea how to return it.
