This is a good shaver, but unfortunately after only a few months of light use, the metal grid that helps shave away the pills broke. I had never had a clothes shaver do that. Apparently the metal is very thin and fragile, and should not be pressed down on. I am very sad now, not worth the money. Get one at wal-mart.Customer Review: Excellent fabric shaver

This is an excellent fabric shaver. We've had a couple in the past that didn't work very well and decided to spend a few more dollars to see if a more expensive one worked better, and this one does. We love it and are so glad we purchased it. It takes the lint off of your clothes quickly and they look fantastic!Customer Review: Remington Fabric Shaver

Be very careful when using this product. The holes in the top are too big
causing it to pull the fabric in and chew it up. It's already eaten 3 of my sweaters. I had the same problem with Evercare Fabric shavers also and if I would have known this was basiclly the same design, I would have never bought it.

I bought this for all my woolen wear that gathers fuzzy lint specially around the sleeves and elbows. I just used it today and I'd say it does a decent job of cleaning up the lint. It could do with a little more vaccum power and sharper blades but then again at $12.99 it does what you paid for.

I read the other reviews for this product and that what made me purchase it because of the good reports. This fabric shaver removes so much lint and hair from your clothes it's ridiculous. The metal part is like a vacuum cleaner that sucks up the lint and hair. It makes old clothes look exactly new. Love it.
