I stumbled upon Remington FaceSaver awhile back, and now my husband can't do without it! It's similar to a deodorant stick, but consists of talcum powder that rubs on his face easily and makes for a very smooth and non-irritating shave. Using a product like Williams Lectric Shave leaves the skin oily or greasy. This talc is great. It goes on easy, is not greasy (in fact it's dry) and because it's talc, it lubricates and protects the skin.
I buy several at a time so I never run out.

Actually, I don't use this product myself, my husband does. I can tell you that he doesn't like to be without it. He says that he gets a better shave from his electric razor with it, and that he gets less chafing from the razor. So, it has to be good stuff.Customer Review: Tony's review

I have used FaceSaver Powderstick for shaving for many, many years. It sets up my face for the electric shaver and for very pleasant electric shaving. Not able to find it locally, I appreciate finding it at Amazon.com.
