I have thick, coarse, naturally wavy hair. It takes FOREVER to blow dry and then is a mess of frizz, so I have to style it with a curling or straightening iron. And, with the straightening iron that I was using, I had to go over my hair 2 or 3 times before it was anywhere close to straight. It took me so long that I usually ended up wearing my hair up to go to work. I borrowed my step-daughter's 'Wet 2 Straight' iron when she was here for the weekend and immediately fell in love with it, so I had to get one for myself. It now takes me less than half the time to style my hair... I can skip the blow-dry process and straighten it with just one stroke. My hair looks amazing!Customer Review: Seems to work OK

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday as she has been asking for one for awhile. I purchased this one out of the rest since it specifically refered to being able to use wet or dry. It also was mid priced and by a well known manufacturer. Both my daughter and wife now use it and I haven't heard any complaints from either so assume it is working as advertised. I rated it 3 stars just because I haven't heard a "wow" from either my wife or daughter but when I ask about it get the comment that it works just fine. Probably, there are better ones on the market, maybe even some with a "wow" factor, but this one seems middle of the road, functioning as advertised.Customer Review: The best 28 bucks I've spent...

Let me just tell you that I had dead straight hair when I was young. When I got into college I began to put dyes and such in my hair which in turn gave my hair a bit of thickness and curl. I bought this thing and the same day I used it. I let my hair dry a bit about 40% and then began to use this baby. I put absolutely nothing in my hair at all. No lotions no mouse nothing. My hair was so slick and shiny it was mind boggeling. I put the thing at 25 and that did a great job. Takes a little while but its so worth it. No more blow drying and no more visits to the hair dresser. I went to my office and recommended it to everyone I saw. This thing is amazing!!!Customer Review: It works!

The product does exactly what it promises. It took my hair from wet to straight. I love the design. The locking feature is handy for travel. I love the digital display. It also heats up very quickly and beeps to let you know it has reached the correct temperature. I have very thick and curly long hair so it took a while to go through but it was more than worth not having to blow dry then flat iron. I was amazed to see my hair coming out straight, silky and shiny. I am quite sure this will cause damage but I used a heat spray to try to minimize this. I relax my hair every couple months and wasn't sure if this would tame my hair but it did! I love it!Customer Review: THIS IS AWESOME

this product is amazing to believe the lame reviews. i bought this and i have curly hair. i wash my hair and towel dry and i pass it through of course more than 3 times this isn't a magic iron that dries in one swipe. (duh) but when i'm done my hair is sleek and smooth and i could even get it to my roots. this product is awesome. i even used on my friends hair her hair is kinky no pun intended. but it flattened it just like mine and it came out perfect. i truly recommend this, and if not fully satisfied because u don't know how to use it return it. but it's awesome. my stepmom even uses it in her salon. but anyways this is awesome. peace.
