Customer Review: Exactly what I needed

I received a package of these straws about six weeks ago and they are EXACTLY what I had been searching for. I have two problems: I recently had neck surgery and the range where I can bend my head fore and aft is now somewhat limited; and I have a 1 liter Rubbermaid FG3163RDEDAYI Sipp'N Sport Chug Style Bottle that I use for workouts that is tall enough that the longest straws I can find in grocery stores do not come out the top. I considered getting some poly tubing from the hardware store but (1) that is not a certified food-grade product, (2) you don't know where it's been, and (3) it is stored on a roll and I would have to figure out some way to straighten it to make it usable. THESE straws are perfect, though. As they are 18 inches (45.7 cm) long I can just trim them to the exact length I want - I now have several cut for different sizes of containers, and my with my limited neck motion they are really helpful in getting to ALL of the contents. I highly recommend them for anyone using tall containers or who has limited neck or head motion!
