this iron gets SO hot on the outside that it has melted itself. it scorched the top of the counter in the bathroom and everything i had set it on (save a metal soap dish). also it snags my hair and so i have ended up with a lot of breakage. i have used many irons before this one and would not recommend it to anyone.Customer Review: Worked for a while...

This straightner does work nicely, however, much like the other review I read my straightner also decided to never heat up after I only used to 4 times. There must be some kind of problem with the manufacturing of this straightner. Don't buy it unless you want to use it a few times and then need to buy a new one.Customer Review: great buy, very satisfied

I searched these for some time since the salon wanted to sell me a different one for $120. Anyway, I decided to give this one a try. I use got2b crazysleek to help with heat protection and smoothness, and love the results. I don't know how valid my opinion is as I have little experience with styling my hair and this is the only flat iron I have ever used but this seems to be a good product to me. I bought this straightner november 04', and I still love it, I have very thick hair, so when I wash it, it becomes even more thicker- but I don't have to worry, I just use this item to make my hair straight and shiny and it has lasted a long time.
