This product is fine but not the best.
It's good if you are wearing a headscarf or thick headband.
Pros: It heats up VERY quickly and creates nice waves (not crimps) without making hair look dead.
Cons: It leaves a very noticeable crease in your hair because of the outside barrel's "interesting" design. Also, you have to be sure that you don't hit the "off" button while using it.

I've been using crimping irons most of my life. And as you can see I am a "verified purchase" of this product.
It works as expected. Heats up well, etc. And doesn't seem anymore heavier or clunker than most other Crimping Irons. And all at a decent price. (29.95) -Someone mentioned that it was $70 in an earlier review? I think they are confused and possibly rating the wrong Iron.

My teenage daughter wanted the Revlon Jumbo Waver to have another way to wear her hair. It's been easy for her to use and the waves are really
cute. The only complaint is that it's bulky but I don't know what they could do to alter the iron and still achieve the same hair style. FYI: I didn't pay this much for mine. Shop around. You can get it much cheaper.

Works great. Gets the large waves I need. If your hair looses curls easily you should put gel on each strip before you press with the wave. Otherwise it will lose the waves before you finish the rest of your hair. It heats up fast and is easy to use.
Be careful not to accidentally move the temp control while using. It's easy to bump it.

I have naturally wavy hair but the curls are uncontrollable and unpredictable. I was looking for a curling iron that would be quick with long-lasting results that look natural. Well this is perfect. It enhances my natural waves and truly does look natural. I get tons of compliments and the curls are long lasting. I truly recommend this product!
