I have had this product when it first came out, which was many years ago. It came with two blades, the first one broke after 11 years, I thought that was amazing. I used it so often, mostly for potatoes, but I used it for other fruits and vegetables too. Now after 14 years or more, it started to maybe get stuck but it still works great. I always hated peeling potatoes, but with Rotato I had my kids do it since they were 6. It is that easy. I just put the potato and they rotate, they thought it was fun and I was able to get other things ready while the potatoes are taken care of.Customer Review: Gotta get one!!

This was a Christmas gift to my cousin. She loves it. She is the designated "potato peeler" of the family, and hated the job. After a few trial attempts, she got right to it, and peeled 10 lbs. of potatoes in no time on Christmas Day. It is easy and cuts peeling potato time by 85%. She highly recommends this product!! She hid it from the rest of the family so no one else would use it!! The blade did get clogged a few times, but easily fixed in a sec with a toothpick. She wouldn't trade it for the world! We are a meat and potatoes-type of family and the Rotato actually does make life a bit easier...when it works. Unfortunately it is very cheaply made; the spring pops out of the peeling arm every time I pull it out of the cupboard to use. I had one years ago that was much more durable but it finally quit working. Would I recommend the Rotato? If it works, yes...it saves time and peeling potatoes isn't a chore. If it is as cheaply made as the one I currently have, no...save yourself the money and frustration.Customer Review: Rotato Express, I love it

Makes peeling so much faster and easier for me
Would highly reccommend it. With hand peelers you waste alot of potato
but with this electric peeler you dont. It works very very well. Thanks for making potato peeling easier for me, I just love it.

The Rotato worked well for two weeks, after that it began rotating slowly until it stopped rotating altogether.. If you are going to do an occasional piece every now and then,it will be fine. It is not designed for heavey duty peeling (apples for pies, oranges for juice etc) where it has to be used repeatedly.
I contacted the supplier (As seen on TV) for a replacement, and they told me they had a thirty day policy. So they would not replace it.
