The rotato express is similar to the old Dazey Stripper. It is of lesser quality , but works very well. You will find the peel is thicker than the old Dazey ,but,Operation is good
It was shipped from Taylor Gifts inc. in a timely manner and arrived in good condition.
Caution ; There is also another advertised without specifing the operation uses batteries/or adaptor. This one is cheaper but is hand operated with a crank.

This is a wonderful concept, but very cheaply executed. It feels like it will easily break making it more of a disposible product than a tool to keep. In defense, I do have to say, it has not broken yet! Wish they would add a few more dollars to it's manufacture and make it more substantial. Also it does not peel the tops and bottoms at all.
With respect to purchasing and receiving the product, top notch!

This is the 2nd one I bought. The first one died after 3 years. It did everything it was supposed to do. We used it almost every day. So it got some hard use. I would recommend this item for anyone. It is simple to use. The only thing negative about this item, is it doesn't do apples very well. It leaves some skin behind. But not enough to worry about. Very simple to remove the remaining skin. I saw a brief demo of this product on GMA & immediately thought of my mother. She has severe arthritis (numerous surgeries, including joint replacement, etc.) & has said in the past that peeling potatoes hurts the most. So, I ordered this without seeing the product in person. SHE LOVES IT!!! She would probably buy one for everyone she knows if she wasn't on a fixed income. :)Customer Review: Great for peeling apples, too!

This is the second rotato express I have owned. We use it to peel apples for applesauce. I do about 2 bushels of apples for sauce to freeze, and this cuts the peeling time. I have used regular apple peelers, corers, etc. and just find this little machine the easiest to use when peeling this large an amount. The blades last a long time and the machine held up well also.
