I like to can applesauce pears, and almost enything I can get my hands on, espicially pears this is the best thing in the world to use. A BIG factor, don't let the pears get over-ripe. popatoes for a big holiday dinner......... wow no more pain, you'll get lots of help as kids love to use this. My mother had a Daizy Stripper for a very long time when I was younger. When it went out, it took longer to peel potatoes for a large family's dinner. I got my mom a Rotato Express with two sets of blades, just incase. She loves it, it works wonderfully, and clean up is pretty easy. I've only used it a handful of times, but I'm pleased with the product.Customer Review: excellent product!!

I bought this for my mother for christmas because she has severe arthritis and could not longer peel potatoes or apples for herself. I have since had to order one for her friend, and her brother has ordered one as well. She said it is the best product to come into her home. She uses it every day. I looked locally for an apple peeler and found it on line. Since I am almost 86 and have a favorite recipe using apples and had a bad time trying to peel them. My fingers would lock. It is such a pleasure to be able to bake my special desert.
I highly recommend your peeler and feel I can use it for other veggies.

This product is either poorly designed or pooly made. It hardly works. It peels a bit, then the blade gets clogged, or it "paws" at the potato, without removing the skin. With a great deal of difficulty I could get it to peel about a half of a potato. It was a complete waste of money, but, thankfully, its a cheap item.
